FMP (For the Most Part)

Last night we had a date night. We hadn't had a date night since our Anniversary October 3rd. The last time after that we had dinner out alone was October 27th. It was more like a late lunch. I know there are alot of parents out there, that may not ever get a date night and I feel for them. But Adam and I really look forward to this. We breathe and relax during dinner. :)

We went to eat with my niece and her boyfriend and then went to a country club afterwards. We had such a good time. We didn't home until 1:45!!... my initial plan was be home by Midnight..... well, that didn't happen. I was really thinking A would sleep until 7am and REALLY hoping it would be 7:30am, well, we heard him talking at 6am!!!! 4 hrs of sleep!! man, were we tired today. My sis in law kept the boys, A and E. She had to be at work at 7am , so we kept E. He's no trouble at all, since he's 4yrs old potty trained and is old enough to communicate.

Today we tried to be as consistant as possible about correcting A. Correcting him on his hitting, biting and screaming. Luckily during dinner and after, he was so calm. What a relief. We both played with his big connecting blocks on the floor and read a couple of books. Adam took pictures with the camera M got from her step dad. It's really nice. Hopefully we can take a picture to put in with our Christmas cards!! Adam is also going to make prints of pictures so we can mail to Jackie at our Agency for Birthmom.

Had a really good time playing with A today. Sleepy, but for the most part (FMP), it was a good day!

A few things that come to my mind that I have not posted about and want to document.

1. A is using more signs now.
2. He says Preeeeeeeez (Please) and does the sign.
3. We finally learned the sign for "All done" after he eats. This makes it easier now to understand him.
4. When I sing Jingle Bells, he says "hey!" Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way (Hey!) He sounds so cute.
6. Goes thru all the animals and things he knows for signing and wants us to say what it is. Bird, Duck, Hat, Bear, Dog.
7. Imitates how Clifford drinks water.
8. Imitates a sneeze. Ahhhhh choo!
9. Says Choo - Chooooooo when he hears our train down the road.
10. Sometimes walks on tip toes, just like I did when I was little and is rough when he's playing, throwing things. Just like me. This little boy is MINE!!!
