AJ is 1 year old and we are surviving. He's so cute we must add. I have to remember his gestatinal age is only 11 months. Actually he'll be 11 mos on May 11th. He is just like an 11 mos old. His birthday was April 24th and we celebrated with a traditional 1 yr old party. Large family, food and of course a Pinata. :)
AJ was sick last sick last week with an ear infection and he's startiing to recover this weekend. Adam and I both work and my commute is about 45 minutes each way. We are usually tired, but we do our best. Everyone says this is normal, so I'm gonna hang on to that. My mother in law mentioned we need to slow down a little. That is probably true, but we will do our best for AJ to have a normal life, of coming and going. Before AJ joined us, Adam and I had no responsibilities. Slept late, napped, we were always going and going. But now, we must realize, this little boy is here with us. He is first in our lives(of course God is first). Our lives were put together for a special reason. We all needed each other.
Adam is at his 2nd to last meeting for his ACTS retreat formation. His retreat is next weekend. Once this is over, our lives will have a little normalsy(is that correct spelling???) :) this ministry is awesome, but it takes alot of time and energy. I hope and pray Adam experiences a wonderful retreat and that all the men attending do the same.
I want to start blogging again, in hoping this will help me with my thoughts. At least maybe it will make me slow down and notice things I've never noticed before. This is our life, not anyone else's life. I wouldn't trade my to guys for anything else. Adam and AJ
